Friday’s Feast #144

Welcome to Friday’s Feast, a “buffet for your brain.”

List 3 emotions you experienced this week.

Sadness, anger, happiness.

Name a car you’d love to have.

That’s a hard one for me. I’m not into cars. I’m happy with my mini-van. 🙂

Describe your typical morning routine.

Wake up to the alarm clock; shower; take Synthroid; make my son’s school lunch if he is taking one that day; spend some time reading my Bible; make youngest son’s breakfast; get dressed and try to do something with hair; take son to school; come home and make my breakfast; eat breakfast while reading e-mail and blogs. After that it just depends on what other errands, duties, etc. are on the agenda for the day.

Main Course
Have you ever emailed someone famous? If so, who, and what did you say to them? Did they reply?

I have e-mailed the president and congressmen and senators concerning certain bills and issues. I do get a reply, but it is probably not personal in most cases, though Senator Jim DeMint is very good about following up a form response with a personal reply.

Do you listen to podcasts? If so, which ones?

No. I keep hearing about them but haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet. There are already too many things to read and listen to to keep up with. But my oldest son listens to some and loves them.

  1. That is wonderful that you e-mail your senators and congressmen. Definitely important to voice your opinion when issues are important to you 🙂
    Happy Friday!

  2. Reading bible in the morning ? congratulations ! sounds more then strange to Europeans, they would never say it if they did. and I don’t even know if I have one besides an old antique from 183somthing, lol !

  4. Happy Friday!

I too have written to the Presidnet and congressman on many issues. The Reps are better at being more personal.

    Have a nice weekend. 🙂

  5. Great feast. It is good to email those in Washington to let them know how you feel. My feast is now up along with my question of the week.

I love hearing from you and will approve your comment ASAP.
