Friday’s Feast #126

What comes to mind when you see the color orange?

How much I dislike the color. 🙂 I think it is beautiful on leaves in the fall and I like pumpkins, oranges, and sweet potatoes. But I wouldn’t wear orange or use it in my decorating (except in small doses in the fall).

Did you ever get in trouble while you were in school? If so, what was it for?

One time, in first grade, several of us were throwing rocks at each other (why, I don’t know. It seemed like fun at the time) when I got hit in the head, started bleeding profusely, and had to be taken to the doctor. Afterward all of us had to write something like 100 times “I will not throw rocks.” I was quite indignant that I had to be punished since I had gotten hurt. 🙂

Which topping(s) make up your perfect pizza?

Pepperoni and sausage!!

Main Course
Do you believe in UFOs/aliens/etc.? Why or why not?

No. Biblically I don’t see any evidence of them. Someone remarked once that reportings of them have actually decreased with the advent of digital cameras, cell phone cameras, and video recorders — you’d think the opposite would be true. But it wouldn’t shake my faith to find that they are out there. It’s a big universe and God may have put planets and beings out there we don’t know about. 🙂

What color is your bedspread/comforter/quilt?

It’s a quilt with a white background and blue, pink, and green pieces.

  1. Hello Barbara … yes I see where we differ with the colour orange … I am actually wearing an orange skirt today!!!! Ha ha ha :0 Loved you feast. Thanks for sharing it and thank you for visiting my feast as well 🙂

  2. Great feast! It wouldn’t hurt my faith either to know if someone or something else is out there. Your appetizer is similar to mine.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Well, that’s just not fair. Being injured and all, you should have been excused from the punishment.

I should do this one. Between you and me, I got in trouble in fourth grade. Someone dared me to spit out the third floor window so I did. It landed with a big splat on the principal’s window sill (southeast Texas – window was open of course) and that man came tearing upstairs to Mrs. Hargraves art class to catch the culprit. My punishment was since I was such a “nasty and dirty” little girl I could no longer be the school nurse’s helper. Isn’t that sad?

  5. Ya know, I didn’t like the color orange to wear until I had my daughter! She absolutely ADORES the color orange and she looks magnificent in it! I am a little late to the party but wanted to let you know that I appreciated the visit!

I love hearing from you and will approve your comment ASAP.
