Jientje at Heaven Is In Belgium hosts A Thousand Words In Idioms wherein she asks participants to illustrate an idiom with a photo. We started by going through the alphabet, but after completing that it’s now open to any kind of idiom.
Mine will probably be by theme — it gives me a guideline to go on — though I may throw in a random one every now and then.
Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk
…because Suzie will take care of it.
No, it means don’t get upset over things that can’t be helped — that usually only makes it worse. Just find a way to take care of it and move on.

The land of milk and honey
This isn’t the most imaginative picture, but, hey, I just got in from out of town.
This has become an idiom for a place that is prosperous and has a lot to offer, but originally it was the description of the land of Canaan that God promised to the Israelites.

Very creative Barbara! I like how you used a theme for this series! And that first picture is so cute! She does take care of it, doesn’t she! She seems to love it when someone spills the milk! Thanks for playing again, I enjoyed them!
Excellent idioms my friend. Both of the pictures are wonderful. It’s funny I was just talking to Jientje the other day, via google chat, and something came up and I said don’t cry over spilt milk and said ooo I would use that but my idioms are done. Great minds we have
I love your choices and a theme is a great idea for this meme!!
I love milk and honey
LOL! I love the way you tied the two together! Nicely done!
Wonderful entry! I love your theme choice and the meanings are very inspiring. The first shot is my favorite. Suzie looks so adorable. It’s good to have someone taking care of spilled milk
I won’t cry over the milk hahaha !
Everyone needs a Suzie!
I like the one on the land of milk and honey!
I like the two idioms with a milk theme.
They were well done.
It was good to see an idiom with biblical roots.
