Jientje at Heaven Is In Belgium hosts A Thousand Words In Idioms wherein she asks participants to illustrate an idiom with a photo, going through the alphabet two at a time. We’re at the end of the alphabet today with Y and Z, but I believe Jientje is planning to continue the challenge without the alphabetical sequence.

You can’t judge a book by it’s cover.
This means that the outside may not be a good indication of what’s inside, and we should suspend judgment until we get to know the person or situation better. This book may not look exciting, but it is one of my favorite novels: A Tale of Two Cities.

WOOT…excellent idioms. The pictures are fantastic to go along with them. And you sure can’t judge a book by it’s cover. Remember Susan Boyle
Aloha my friend
See ya next week same time same channel with a free for all with the idioms LOL
These are cool. How did you get your clock to do that zero hour thing?!
I wanted to do these! But I changed my mind at the very last minute! Well done, I like thgem a lot! And yes, the challenge will continue after this week.
Good illustrations.
Very niiiiiiiice! Great job with the Zero Hour! I was intending to do Zero In On … but I forgot… again… You did well with both! That fairly blank cover really does convey the message too!
Excellent choices. zero hour is kinda scary.
You guys are so creative! How do you think of all of them?
Great stuff, Barbara! How true about the one on “You can’t judge a book by it’s cover”.
