After doing the button wreath a few days ago, I decided to search around for other cute button craft projects.
Here is a button clock from Martha Stewart (also includes some interesting history of buttons).
Mosaic button pots for kids to do.
Another clock, a hat, and several other decorative touches with buttons.
A button bouquet that looks like it was in a Dr. Suess book.
Cute Christmas tree ornament.
Another cute Christmas tree ornament.
A snowman button pin (I did make this a few years ago. very cute!)
I want to do the ornaments next Christmas. Other than that I don’t know if I’d do any of these — though the button clock would be neat for a sewing/craft room, if I ever have one of those.
But it has been inspiring to look at these.

Update: sorry about all the broken links — some sites weren’t up any more, some changed urls (Martha Stewarts’ site is awful about that!) I think they are all fixed now. Let me know if one doesn’t work for you.

Well, you KNOW I had to check out the Christmas tree ornaments! Cute, cute. And look at you. A profile photo! How nice it is to see who I’m talking to now.
I LOVE that clock! Thanks for finding it.
[...] addition, a while back I had a post about various button crafts here: I would add to that this button board I just recently saw here. There is also a Flickr group of [...]
I statred manufacturing Id Glow buttons and now have started selling the to button retailers and donating them to childrens workshops. Since I make them from “scratch”, they have a bright glow and a glow time. Its probably one on the neatest projects I have ever done.
a nice site !
Something really cool to do with extra buttons is push pins for a bulletin board. you just hot glue them to push pins, then there is a variety and excitement to your bulletin board
Thanks, Addie. That’s a cute idea!
hi i just stumbled upon your site, i love crafts, i am retired 72 years old, and just broke my shoulder so haven’t been doing much crafts but enjoy finding new sites especially ones who love the Lord. i am looking for wedding arrangements on a budget for my daughter believe it or not i have a 28yr old daughter i was 44 when i had her the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me she has kept me young.i have three great daughters that take good care of me. any ideals on arrangements?
thank you, Reta
I am so sorry about the shoulder! Hope it’s feeling better now.
No, I am sorry, I am not good at flower arranging at all. I worked for a florist part time for a while and could do corsages and bud vases, but I never could get a good feel for the bigger arrangements. I hope you find some good ideas!
So disappointed I couldn’t open the links. Cay
I’m not sure why. I just tried them and they opened fine.
