My first tag!

I’ve been tagged by Rosemary at Seasonings (clever blog title!) for a meme about word definitions. I’m honored!

I’ve seen this on a number of different blogs by different titles. I think one title was the “Four Word Meme.” Basically one person tags a a few others to give their definitions or what comes to mind for 4 particular words, then that person tags other people with 4 different words, and so on. This could be called “Do You Know What I Meme?”

My words are from Rosemary are fall, staple, book, and fine.

Fall: I think of two meanings here: the fall of man into sin which affected the whole world and everyone in it, from which we can be redeemed by believing on Jesus Christ as out Lord and Savior, and fall, the season we’re now in. Some of my favorite quotes about fall are here.

Staple: a little three-sided piece of metal which keeps pages together with the help of a stapler and which hurts if it falls on the floor and you step on it while barefoot.

Book: one of my favorite things in the whole world, a treasure trove of knowledge, of relaxation, of imagination, of inspiration, the Best of which tells about God and His plan and provision for us.

Fine: a state of being (“I feel fine.”); a state of attractiveness (“He’s so fine.”); a penalty you pay for being late with something (which doesn’t feel very fine.)

Let’s see…coming up with new words will be the hard part. The first thing my eyes fell on was the CD holder for our computer games and programs, so I’ll take inspiration from words I see there: boggle, images, wheels, and Bible.
